Frustrated with Metrobank Credit Card Delivery
For context, I applied for a Metrobank credit card last April 10, got approved on April 14, and received a text saying the card would be delivered on or before April 24. It’s May 17 now and I still haven’t received the card or any update regarding its whereabouts. I’m based in Davao City, so I’m not sure if location has anything to do with the delay, but this has honestly been frustrating.
I’ve already contacted Metrobank CS multiple times, but honestly it feels pointless. They can’t tell me which courier is handling the delivery, they can’t track where the card currently is, and all they keep saying is they’ll request a redelivery. I think they’ve already requested two redeliveries at this point.
What’s even more frustrating is:
• I never received any text/call about a delivery attempt
• I don’t even know which courier has the package
• The reference number Metrobank provided doesn’t work with any of their possible partner couriers (GO21, MSRV, 2GO, LBC, Abest, NinjaVan, Entrego, J&T)
• Their app isn’t helpful either — it only says “Out for Delivery” with zero additional details
The weird part is this isn’t even my first Metrobank CC. Last year, I applied for a Titanium card and received it within 8 days after approval. GO21 handled it back then and everything went smoothly.
So now I honestly don’t know what’s happening with my current application. Has anyone else from Davao City or outside Metro Manila experienced this recently with Metrobank deliveries?
