Addition to Zurich trip, 2 kids

Hey folks, I have a trip to Zurich planned and want to tack on something else for the week prior.

I’m an American, living in the Midwest (St. Louis) I’ll be traveling with my husband, 3 year old, and 1 year old.

Places we travelled in the vicinity: Paris, London, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Rome, Florence, Venice, Frankfurt, Munich, Istanbul, Cappadocia, Kalkan. (Probably some others I’ve missed)

Places we’ve loved: Marrakech, Kalkan, Hanoi, Kyoto.

Question: where should we travel before our Zurich trip! We like good food and unique culture, don’t mind a little remote as long as we don’t have to drive to get there (but could be convinced otherwise). I’d like for it to be a direct flight to Zurich, and ideally direct from Heathrow or Frankfurt as those are the best flights for me.

Thanks!

Where to buy big art

Hey folks! I’m taking out a 4 lane bookshelf and just putting a big ass painting… issue is I don’t have a painting. Do you know where I can go to look at big add pieces of art? Like 6ft long sort of thing.

If it matters, my taste is: earthy, worldly, neutral and gem tones

Thanks!

Why should you not post pictures of your kids/babies online?

There was a recent r/pics image with a babies face - the comments were very pointed: get these images off the internet this isn’t safe. They also doxxed themselves with something in the photo, which I get is bad.

My stupid question - is it bad? I post pictures of my kids on a non-private instagram. Are there really people out there that are going to… take the kids? Is that what we’re worried about? I’m not famous, or an influencer. Just an average mother of two.

Edit: I made my Instagram private, it was defaulted public from ages ago. No real reason to keep it that way.

In a recent post, the comments were talking about how much Kirkwood has changed and their perception of it. I was raised in Kirkwood apartments, by a single mother - we definitely weren’t the most affluent but had amazing resources through public school and had a good set up for entering college. I came back to raise my kids here, and was surprised by the amount of Louis Vuitton, kids in beemers, and cosmetics. I am happy with the school ratings, as I don’t view religious schools as an alternative for my family - and I am consistently shocked and happy about the raising zestimate. I also am a strong believer that Kirkwood value proposition is for young families and offers little value to non-school-aged-kid households.

Anyway, what’s the going consensus on Kirkwood’s reputation in the St. Louis metropolitan area?
