Replacing idler shaft rubber sleeve on rebel 17
I have this replacement rubber sleeve for my r17 tumbler idler shaft

But it's really hard to get the old rubber sleeve off the shaft. Just doesn't wanna slide off. Any suggestions?

I have a general sense of how thunder eggs are formed, but can anyone provide details about this one? Why is there an outer layer of blue chalcedony and inner white layer? What causes the blue color? Found in NV.
