Black pull up leather care advice

Bought a pair of chestnut yearling's recently and had to pair it with a black pair. I managed to get some blacks on discount but was told it was pull up leather instead of yearlings so no black polish is needed. I was advised to get natural polish and to use it very sparingly like 1-2 a year.

For scuffs and marks to apply a small amount of conditioner on the affected areas.

Most of the pull up leather variants I have seen are usually in chocolate or tan.

Does anyone have experience with these? I am curious as to how these would age. Hopefully the colour wont fade with time.

Thank you!! Very excited to be a part of the team.
