My ex boyfriend won't pay me back and I was wondering if I could do anything.
Context: I was with my Dutch boyfriend for a year we are both 20. I am from India and studying in a Dutch city near the Belgian border. He is dutch but he lives in belgium. We recently broke up and it was really messy (he was emotionally abusive and punched things and threw things around and i finally gave up and left). He was studying and not working so his only money was from the DUO so he didn't receive much and he was extremely bad with money. So often (most of the time) i paid for his diesel (he has a car) and dinner and food, this just to give you a context of the situation.
this year he borrowed money from me around 420€ for different things and he made me use klarna to pay for an apple tv which is still on my account and needs to be paid. and whenever i sent him the money for this amount i am talking about here i had added in the description what it was for and he used that money to pay for the things.
the breakup was really messy and his parents got involved. they unfortunately cannot see anything wrong with him and what happened and he and his mom have blocked me on everything. his mother refuses to do anything about the money because it's between me and him and then she blocked me too.
So now i have no idea if there's anything i can do about this. It's not a lot of money so I don't know if anything can even be done even if you track money you can see i sent it to him and he spent it on the mentioned item. Even with the Klarna since it was my account that was used to pay for the apple tv on bol from his account.
