Moving soon and feeling guilty about decluttering 😵‍💫

Pretty much the title. I don't have much space right now as is, but my collection is ~45 items (not including skincare), and I really want this to be a fresh start. I have a few items among those 45 that just don't work for me or don't spark joy, but I'm determined to work through them as simply tossing them seems wasteful. The packaging is very nice for some of them so somewhere in my brain I want to reuse it; it's just a matter of figuring out what for. But also, if I don't already have a purpose in mind, I'm just lugging around more stuff still… 🫠🫠🫠

In any case, I suppose my question is what you might do in my situation. I worry that I'm too deep in the trenches of using what I have in the name of sustainability to enjoy my collection, so if you have a different point of view I would love to hear it!

You're joking. (Flower Knows Strawberry Cupid Pressed Powder 01)

I bought this at the beginning of May and I just hit pan today! I simply can't believe I've gone through nearly a ten-gram cake that quickly. I do like the brightening finish it gives, especially over the tone-up cream I use– it gives an almost-white effect that I find wearable for everyday without being too alternative. However, considering I've hit pan in less than three months and it cost me nearly 30USD, I'll likely just keep the compact and press a different product into it to get more value out of it.

Question: I want to get a chest piece, but I only have one (shoulder) tattoo. Should I expect artists to say no to me?

Essentially the title!

Hello r/tattoos! I've never posted here before so forgive me any faux pas I may make.

I only have one tattoo from a local shop, and it's a flash design I simply edited with my artist and had put on my shoulder. The tattoo itself takes up a good majority of my shoulder but is my only tattoo so far. I have quite a bit of scarring over the majority of my chest and sternum I want to get covered, though, and I've been thinking of ways to cover them using tattoos.

However, I'm aware that artists will sometimes turn clients away over certain types/areas of tattoos if they don't have other ink on them (e.g. no hand/face tattoos if the client is not already heavily inked). I understand that every tattoo artist is different in their standards, but given my lack of expertise I'm hesitant to ask an artist before knowing what to expect. Interactions like that can make me anxious (Lord knows that even that shoulder tattoo had me sweating going in and asking for it!), and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable in a situation regarding a permanent body mod, especially myself, so I thought I'd come and ask here before looking for a particular artist.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have!

First Pan In My Contour Palette!

Sorry for the cropping being so wonky on the photo previews 😵‍💫 but I've finally hit pan in my Flower Knows Chocolate Shop Contour Palette!

This product has been my daily go-to for contour since I purchased it in October of last year (swipe to photo 3 to see when it was new!). I find the darker brown a little too dark for my very fair complexion, but the lighter grey-brown is perfect to add a little bit of natural shadow to the face. I'm also still not used to seeing myself in contour even after all this time, so that plays a hand in it. It's not overly pigmented, so like a lot of C-beauty wouldn't work as well for deeper skin tones, but for my pale self it works fine.

I'm excited to continue using this up! I seem to be accumulating makeup more quickly than I use it, so hitting pan in this palette is a very pleasant surprise. As with my other products I'll continue to document my use of it. Maybe I'll be through with the light brown by the end of the year!
