Last night was my first time at the ballpark… just saying

Brewers fan from Germany here. Flew all the way from Germany for my first game at Miller Park (EVERYONE told me to not call it American Family Field) last night. Brewers won 22-0. Highest shutout since 1887.

I’ll be at every game this week. Let’s see if this streak keeps going. Maybe I’m a lucky charm?

If the team wants to cover my travel, tickets, and accommodation for the rest of the season, I’m happy to keep showing up.

Just saying…

Fan from Germany coming to Milwaukee (for the first time)

Hi Crew,

A few months back, I posted here about my birthday trip to Milwaukee to catch the Brewers take on the Mariners and Braves at American Family Field. Well, the time is almost here; I’m flying in from Germany, and this will be my first visit to Wisconsin. I’m super excited to experience the state, the city, the people, and - most of all - live baseball!

Since I’ll be in town for a week starting August 17, I’d love your help making the most of it. What are the must-do (and must-avoid) experiences in and around the stadium/the city? I’m all about Brewers-related activities. I’ll be staying downtown if that helps. I simply want to make the most out of my first time in Milwaukee.

I’m also a big outdoors fan (hiking, mountain biking, etc.) so any additional tips would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance, and go Brewers!

House keys in suitcase that didn’t make it. Would Lufthansa pay for hotel?

So this is a hypothetical question. Yesterday my checked bag didn’t make it to my final destination. I had my house keys in that bag. Luckily my wife was at home so no problem.

However, IF my wife had not been there then I would have had to check into a hotel. In that hypothetical scenario would Lufthansa compensate for the hotel stay? It’s been more than 26h since landing and still no sign of my suitcase so in this scenario this would have been a huge inconvenience.

BTW, my wife says it’s my fault for keeping my house keys in a checked bag. In hindsight that was stupid of me but as far as I know Lufthansa doesn’t state anywhere where passengers should keep keys 🤷

I’m SEN, fyi
