Walking into the sunset at a local park
Put the baby to sleep for the night at 7 and sunset was at 8, so my wife let me walk around at the local park to watch the sunset and test my new lens.

Had lunch with some extended family nearby-ish so decided to check this place out afterwards. Nice, easy, and peaceful dirt trail along the coast in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
Spent about an hour and a half walking around at the marina in Long Beach, CA with my camera. It was intermittently switching between overcast and partly cloudy that changed the mood even for similar compositions.
This is a monument with a large bronze bell situated in a really nice park overlooking the ocean in San Pedro, CA. Taken with OM-3 + 14-150 II.
When I go to Laguna Beach I usually take pictures of the beach landscape. But the town itself is also cozy and walkable, so this time I decided to walk around the downtown area and snap some pictures of the town itself.
Spent an hour or so walking around downtown San Juan Capistrano during an afternoon off. Didn't have time to go into the Mission, but checked out a church and some other bits and bobs. Taken with OM System OM-3 + 14-150 II lens.
I wanted to test out taking interior & cathedral photos with my new kit for when I travel, so I found this cool-looking church not too far from where I usually am. All shots taken handheld with OM-3 + OM 14-150 II lens.
Earlier this week I walked on an overcast morning at Corona Del Mar and noticed that the waves were bigger and more active than they usually are when I'm there. Tried to capture them with my camera. Taken with OM System OM-3 + 14-150 lens.
Casa Romantica is a historic building overlooking the ocean in southern California built with a "Spanish Colonial Revival" architectural style. This building is usually only open to people in the midday, but I had the opportunity to come here in the evening for a work event and I took some casual shots with the early evening light. All shots with Olympus E-M10 IV + 12-45 f4.
After I drop off our baby at daycare in the morning, I'm trying to get into a habit of getting a coffee and going on a walk (work-schedule permitting). One of these walks this week was at Corona Del Mar beach. This is a place I've been to frequently, but never in the morning. Not only is the morning light nice, it's also much less crowded and much more peaceful.

Ordered food from a local restaurant and by the time I got there, it was still going to take 30 more minutes before it was ready. So I drove 5 minutes to a nearby beach park and walked around for a bit. All shots taken on Olympus E-M10 IV + Panasonic 14-140 superzoom lens.
My to-go food order still had 30 minutes until it was ready when I got here, so I took advantage of that time to walk around and grab some shots in the morning light while waiting. All shots taken on Olympus E-M10 IV + 14-140 superzoom lens.
