In the 1990s, perhaps the start of the modern era, there were ~16 races a season. We're now up to ~24. What impact has this had on teams? Were cars and drivers working for the next event for longer in the 1990s or did the teams have more rest/break periods?

I'm looking for opinions on using magnetic storage with large metal miniatures. I have a mix of metal minis like classic dreadnoughts that don't fit in my 28mm mini foam case. Magnetic storage looks ideal but I'm doubtful that the magnets will be strong enough. Or, if I use stronger magnets, I'll break the miniature off the base trying to remove it.

Pick and pluck foam is my second choice which will work but isn't as tidy.
