Safeway incorrect electronic prices

Hi, this is a question about what happenes in these cases.

I went to my local Safeway and when paying I noticed it marked my cookies as almost $6 when the tag showed a discounted price of $2.99. I buy these cookies often at a price between $3-4.

When I told the attendant, she said that all prices were having issues because of a power outage, but she would respect the price on the tag. She said that it was lasts' week discount. I asked about the scanner code and she said it didn't apply.

So my question, if i see a price on the shelf, and it marks a different price when scanning, can they just blame the price tags malfunctioning?

They had a small sign on the entrance door that I'm sharing too.

Vet recommendations

Hi, everyone.

We've had some issues with my dog for the last 6 months. His vet sent him to a specialist that we didn't like much.

After 6 months of treatment and exams, we are still where we started, just more broke than before.

Anyone that could recommend a vet would be great. We don't mind going a bit farther than Burnaby.

Thanks in advance
