hdb 630 first impressions (day 1)
Just got the hdb 630s today, wanted to write something about my first impressions as someone who enjoys a large variety of music.
For the past month actually was using the px8s2 because I liked them aesthetically, but I found the tuning weird and uncomfortable, which led me to return them.
EIther way when I first listened to them I enjoyed the eveness and neutrality. The comfort is better imo, though the earpads to get warm. I know you can get aftermarket pads but I don't want the tuning to be effected. but Im tempted to try some. To be clear its not like unbearable but its kinda a little annoying. I wish they had used real leather (does anyone have measurements with aftermarket pads?)
Also I did get the DMS HE-1 EQ and its very enjoyable, I would reccomend it to those who haven't tried it.
I think there is an issue with samsung devices and USB C audio? The audio is substantially more quiet over usb C. and turning up on the headset doesn't work while connected to usb c (at least on samsung s26).
