I've been trying to learn Spanish for a little while. I know the alphabet, some basic words and phrases, greetings, how to introduce myself, some numbers, how to order at a restaurant, and stuff like that.
I'm looking for someone who wants to learn Spanish together and keep each other motivated.
Egypt is a fucking depressing country.
And I don’t mean that just because it’s a poor country. It’s not even about poverty. It’s just a fucking shitty place to live.
I’ve been learning Spanish for a while, so I’ve become kind of interested in the cultures of the Mediterranean countries on the other side, as well as Latin American countries. And even though some of them are poor too, life just doesn’t feel this fucking miserable.
Why?
There isn’t fucking red brick everywhere you look. Their countries are full of beautiful landscapes and greenery. There’s no one forcing women to dress in ugly ass clothes or wear hijab, so you actually get to see women looking beautiful and dressing nicely.
And it’s not just women. The general sense of style here has become fucking awful.
You can’t even love someone or be in love normally here. You can’t even have sex openly. You have to do everything in secret. Drinking is forbidden, weed is illegal. There’s barely any fucking pleasure in life.
Even the nice, clean areas are basically reserved for the rich.
And you’re forced to deal with shitty people all the fucking time, starting with asshole transportation drivers and ending with government employees.
It’s just a fucking miserable life.
