how to know if a listing is legit?

okay this might be a silly question however- how do you know for rent listings that you find on facebook or another similar platform are legit?

i recently joined this facebook group, and although i've traveled to korea many a times, i either stayed in a dorm or an airbnb- so ive never actually dealt with the real estate process in korea. basically, its a facebook group for international student housing- and ive noticed people listing places for the summer or for temporary rent on there- but how do you verify it's legit? because it's not through an official platform like airbnb, i literally have no idea what to look for in these listings that would verify them.

the portrayal of haesoo and mincheols relationship

even though i am not the biggest fan of the author’s writing, i must say: i had a really clouded judgment of haesoo from the beginning of the series when it came to her relationship with mincheol. i still think she does wayyyy too much with the whole “woe is me” vibe and actively makes things harder for herself, but after reading the recent chapter, i genuinely came to sympathize with her feelings toward him and understood why she stayed with him for so long.
when i first read this story months ago, i honestly thought she was pathetic. and i still don’t think the author portrays the female experience realistically a lot of the time… however, i really appreciate the portrayal of their incredibly damaged relationship, especially in these past couple chapters. sometimes you love someone because of the promise of the life you wanted with them. and in a twisted way, they are somewhat “soulmates.” not in an endgame sense, but in the sense that they were two people truly bound together throughout their lives. and sometimes… that’s just what love ends up being.
in a way, i almost feel this sense of regret while reading. like part of me wishes things had worked out differently for them. not necessarily wishing that they stayed together, but that maybe things could’ve gone another way before everything rotted beyond repair. if anything, i think that’s actually the strongest aspect of the author’s writing.
