Visiting Gwangmyeong Cave next month! Anything else we can do in the vicinity?

My folks want to visit Gwangmyeong Cave during our trip to Seoul. We currently have a full day left to be filled in the itinerary. So apart from the cave, so I was hoping to visit other sights / activities in Gyeonggi-do area.

Open to recommendations for cafes or museums in the area too. Thank you!

A place to celebrate my mother's birthday and Mother's Day? The option to make reservations would be great.

My mother's birthday happens to fall on Mother's Day so every year we would do a double celebration. We'll be in Jeju this month and I would like to bring her for a good meal.

She's already picked out a BBQ place (for lunch) so would like other recommendations for dinner! Ideally, I would like to make reservations if possible.

Cuisine wise, she is not keen on seafood. Otherwise, her palate is quite diverse.

Lastly, for budget, we are looking at around $60 - 80 per person? Thank you!

Hello! I got really kind advice for solo travelling around Taitung but now comes the tough part of deciding which month to visit.

I've asked on Reddit, researched on Google and read travel vlogs and it seems to be March, May or November. Hesitated on booking the tickets because I started doubting my initial plan for November. 😅

I'm looking to cycle, do a farmstay and basically be outdoors a lot. Have not searched up any festivals so I don't have a strict month to visit but I do only get one chance to visit Taiwan within these two years so...hahaha.

Which would you recommend? 😅🥹 Thank you for bearing with me!

Thank you!

I'm planning to take a one week vacation in Taiwan, with five days in Taitung and two in Taipei. I have visited Taipei numerous times, hence hoping to explore a bit more of the slow-paced nature in Taitung. (Largely cause I'm burnt out from work).

However, I do not have a driving licence. Will this be an issue in Taitung? I was hoping to rely on Uber or taxis, is this becoming more of a norm in Taitung? If it helps, I am able to cycle.

Lastly, any recommended places to visit for a solo female traveller?

Thank you for the kind advice.
