I’m clearly doing terrible in biology 1406 this semester my professor sucks no lectures or anything. This is my first time in college I’m wondering am I just bad at school or do I need to retake it next semester with a better professor

I’m looking into taking a short CNA program at another school at the same time, but I would be paying for the CNA program completely out of pocket and would not receive any financial aid, Pell, or loans from the CNA school. I would remain enrolled at Dallas College and continue taking my regular classes there. Has anyone attended Dallas College while also taking a CNA or other trade program at another school? Did it affect your Dallas College financial aid in any way, or did you have any issues being enrolled at both places?

So for spring 2026 it took 2 weeks for refunds I remember but summer 2026 I remember a lot got our refunds within a couple days will fall be that fast I wonder

Is there anybody else in biology 1406 that just does not understand ? Lol my class is online and the McGraw hill assignments are soooo confusing who can be my study partner

This is my first year accepting loans so I’m new to this and confused. I accepted my loans for spring and fall about a month ago and today after getting a revised award letter I checked it and seen that a $1000 loan I had for spring 2027 says “loan amount: $1000” but then next to it says “anticipated disbursement amount: $400” why is that? Where is the rest of the money for the loan I accepted ?
But on the column under it it’s blank but also has another $400 there is that the rest of the loan? Sorry if this is confusing lol I will post a screenshot if I need to

For fall my awards packet came in and I only accepted my Pell Grant but now I need to go back and accept my 2 loans I declined at first .. I know I should’ve accepted them but my question is it possible at all to go back and accept them? Can financial aid help?

I’m confused. I received my refund processed email yesterday morning 6/25 and seen my refund on touch net as well… but I called my bank today to see if they see any ACH deposits coming from my school and he said no so I called cashiers and they said I should be fine and my bank won’t see it until it deposits.. I’m wondering is something wrong or when I should receive me refund

I registered for my fall classes today on workday.. should I see my tuition for those 3 classes on workday tomorrow? Like when it says total amount due for those classes? Or will it be a while? I thought within 24 hours your tuition is updated after you register for any class.

Also does anybody know how much tuition would be for 10 credits in county tuition?

After we see manual refund showing in workday about how much longer until our refund is in our banks? Does manual refund also mean that our refunds are in the hands of the bank now?

My spring refund email was sent 14 days after my disbursement date so I basically got my refund about 2 weeks after. Will that be the case for summer refunds? Or will it take just as long? (My grant disbursed yesterday)

I had a disbursement date of June 20th for my Pell Grant to disburse but I know that was a Saturday … should I expect for my grant to disburse tomorrow Monday?? Please help guys I’m still new to this
