DIM: TOTO NEOREST WX2

we’re planning to renovate our ancestral house and turning it into a smart home, and we’re thinking of replacing all the toilets in the bathrooms with the TOTO NEOREST WX2.

features are:
auto open/close lid
auto flush (hands-free)
heated seat (adjustable)
warm water bidet (front + rear wash)
adjustable water pressure + temperature
oscillating / pulsating wash modes
warm air dryer
deodorizer (odor removal system)
self-cleaning wand (EWATER+)
bowl pre-mist (anti-stick coating)
rimless bowl design (easier cleaning)
night light
motion sensors (no-touch use)
user memory settings
energy-saving modes
ultra-quiet flush
premium ergonomic seat design

in japan there’s a design philosophy that even everyday or “small” spaces deserve a lot of care and attention, which our architect told us.

try to deinfluence us.

i just found out my girlfriend is my 3rd cousin.

problem/goal: are we still okay medically/genetically? is there any increased risk or problem?

is it culturally or socially acceptable if we continue dating and eventually get married?

does this change anything we should seriously consider?

context: my girlfriend and i have been dating for more than a year. we recently took a DNA test for fun, which showed we’re related. we share 186cm of DNA. neither of us knew we were related, so we were both shocked when we found out.

we both still want to be together and are serious about getting married.

P.S. i made this throwaway account just to post this because i don’t want to be doxxed lol.

edit: yes, the DNA test was for fun. we’re interested in our genealogy/ancestry, and we have money. sorry i forgot this is reddit where having money is a sin lol. (also already booked genetic counseling in singapore)
