What to expect

Basically when I was 13 my mom started me on Nexplanon (young pregnancy was common in my area and she didn't want that to happen to me under ANY circumstances😂). I've had it replaced every 3 years since then and I'm now 25.

I've been in a relationship for almost 5 years now, have lived together for around 3 years and we are hoping to possibly try for a baby next year meaning time to get the implant out and take back control of my body!

I don't drink alcohol. I do currently smoke but plan to start cutting down slowly until Christmas, a bit more intensely between Christmas and New Years then completely stop after New Years. Give it a few months at least for my body to adjust and then maybe start trying to conceive.

I've done some research but I've never seen anything from someone who's had them in for as long as me and had basically no periods. So I'm a bit worried about how hard the side affects may hit me when removed and what to expect when coming off it after such an extended period of time. Honestly I'm kind of scared 😅

While having:

I've had extremely rare and unpredictable periods (like once or twice for 1-4 weeks maybe every 3-5 years) and I've never really experienced a normal womanly cycle.

I've gained a lot of weight

I feel tired all the time

I VERY rarely want sex

Is this something serious or being silly?

Had him for nearly 2 years and he's about 5 years old.

He just randomly started doing this today for the first time while I was cleaning poop off his feet and he was chilling loosely in my hands after.

He's my first bird so every time he does something weird I worry it's a symptom of him being poorly so thought I'd ask
