Clean Gene

I finally got a clean gene (jean, gean?) today and I'm so proud of myself! I'm no where on Andy's level but at least I'm no Jorm!

My Week in Photos

Everyday since immediately after the surgery I posted photos on instagram because I am insane. But also I saw so many people posting on here asking if things were normal, etc. after the first day SO many people messaged me saying they got the same surgery! And gave me so many helpful tips and advice. When I really didn't think I was going to get through the bleeding by day 4, friends told me to just wait it out it gets better. And it did. If anyone I know is considering this I want to be honest that it's rough the first few days but it'll be okay! 8 days post surgery and I feel like I have a cold but I know it's normal. I know my nose is healing properly and that's all good! My next post op appointment is June 2 so we'll see what they say!

  1. Day before

  2. Ride home from surgery

  3. Day After Surgery

  4. 2 days post surgery

  5. 3 days post surgery

  6. 4 days post surgery

  7. 5 days post surgery. Finally could go a few hours without gauze

  8. 6 days post surgery and immediately after coming home from stent removal!

  9. 1 day post stent removal and one week since surgery!

  10. 8 days post surgery!

I'm less than 24 hours post op but one of the weirdest things is my right eye has had bloody discharge. At the hospital they said it was normal because of how the nose and eyes are connected. I had turbinate reduction on the right side and I think it was up pretty high. I had a lot of bleeding last night having to change my gauze 2-3 times an hour. The bleeding has slowed down some.
