How do you guys use "Arcana"?

I'm a fairly new player and I have a bit of a difficulty understanding the Arcana-proficiency. I've tried to read a bit about it but it's seems like different groups use it in quite a lot of different ways.

RP-wise I feel like it would be the coolest proficiency for my character to have, but I'm really not sure when, where or how I would every use it in a good way.

So please share some tips and tricks how you all use Arcana in your games, and when you find it as a usuful trait to have!

Games that captures the feeling of a "great adventure"

I grew up with Grandia, a fantastic game that really captures the feeling a "great adventure, but I havn't really found a game that scratches the same itch since.

I know a few games in the Dragon Quest series are kind of close, but I've always found it kind of off-putting with a none-speaking protagonist.

While Grandia certainly falls into the category of "the young hero that has to save the world", it manages to maintain the feeling of wonder and that the adventure itself is it's own reward, so basically I'm looking for recommendations of games that manages to keep this sense of discovery and wonder - please let me know if you know of any games that fits the bill!

All the Freddy Mercury memes aside, think Thragg might've been inspired by MMA fighter Don Frye?

EDIT: i meant Dark Cloud 2, this has nothing to to with Dark Souls 2. Sorry about that and maybe Mod can edit?

. Man I'm really enjoying it but goddamn it's a tough game! I think I

've died more often than I did in the first few hours of Elden Ring already.

What do you guys think of it? It's availble on PS5+ right now and it's really fun, but I was not aware of the high diffficulty of it - it's one hell of a grind and a steep learning- curve for sure!

Anyone else feel the same but still enjoy the game?
