Options for Swim Lessons - Not Foss

What other options have people used for swim lessons for children?

We've used Foss a few times now and the only good thing I can say is the class sizes are small. However, the things they are teaching my child seems deliberately done in order to try to get us to have to pay for more swim lessons and not necessarily to make him a better swimmer. I'll be happy to write out a detailed rant if anyone wants to hear, but for the money I'm paying, I can't say its worth it. I tried the free lessons the city gives and the class sizes are huge, my child got very little actual time with an instructor. It was good for them to get comfortable in the water, but they also made little to no progress. Just looking for any other options that people may know. Thanks in advance.
