I'm growing incredibly anxious about my visa timeline and wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat or knows what's going on.

I've noticed a really frustrating trend: multiple applicants who submitted their files on June 5th, May 26th and May 13th with travel dates set for Sept 1st, Sept 18th, and Sept 20th all received their visas within just 2 weeks (around June 17th–18th).

Meanwhile, I am sitting here with no updates and panicking (Applied on 30th April & Travel date is 18th Sept). Has anyone experienced this where later applications are processed way faster? Who should I even reach out to at this point?

I am physically going to the VFS Mumbai office tomorrow morning to try and get some answers. I know they usually don't give direct updates since the embassy holds the files, but I have to try.

If anyone has any advice, knows a better way to escalate this or can share a similar experience to help calm my nerves, please help!!

Is there anyone here who applied for a German student visa through VFS Mumbai in April or May and has a tentative travel date in September?

I wanted to know if anyone in a similar timeline has already received their visa or any updates, because I still haven't heard anything.

Here are my details:

• VFS Mumbai appointment: 30th April
• Pending documents email received: 5th May
• Pending documents submitted at Pune VFS: 6th May
• Status changed to "Decision Pending": 6th May
• No further calls, emails, or correction requests since then
• Planned travel date: 18th September

I'm getting a bit anxious since there has been no update for quite some time.

If anyone applied around the same period, could you please share:

• Your application date
• University/intake (if you're comfortable sharing)
• Current visa status
• Whether you have already received your visa

My application: Appointment done VFS Mumbai on 30th April

pending documents mail received : 5th may

pending documents submitted to Pune VFS : 6th May

Status turned Decision Pending on 6th May...no further calls or mails or corrections...

Date of travel - 18th September

is the delay due to pending documets? anyone have any idea??
