Why don’t creators want my samples!

Hey everyone,

I run a small shop on TikTok Shop UK selling dissolvable caffeine strips (think Listerine strip format, but for caffeine). I’ve had the sample program open for a couple weeks now and creator uptake has been slower than expected, so I wanted to ask the community directly rather than guess.

A few reasons I thought this would be an easy sell for creators:

**•	It’s genuinely new** — most people have never seen caffeine in strip form, so there’s a natural “wait, what is this?” hook built in
**•	Visually different** — easy to film, easy to react to, doesn’t look like just another supplement bottle or gummy
**•	Viral mechanics built in** — taste test / reaction content, “test this before your workout/exam/gym” formats, unboxing novelty
**•	Samples are free** — no cost or risk to try it, we just want honest content either way

So my question for creators here: what actually makes you say yes to a sample request? Is it the product niche, follower count expectations, commission %, how the outreach message is written, or something else entirely? Genuinely trying to understand what’s not landing and happy to take the criticism.

Thank you in advance- I appreciate all feedback
