I tried real silk underwear in hot and humid weather - here's what stood out

Kindly gifted by FEELITS, but all thoughts are genuinely my own

I've been testing these out over the past couple of weeks in different conditions (ranging from cold and rainy, to hot and humid weather), so I wanted to share an honest experience-based review rather than just a first impression.

What I got: The wireless triangle bralette and thong + bikini in two colorways (blush pink and pearl white). The underwear are 100% mulberry silk, with the bras being 95% mulberry silk and 5% spandex for some stretch and comfort.

The bralette: Honestly surprised me. I expected it to feel delicate in a high maintenance way, but it wore like nothing was there. Smooth against my skin, no pinching, no underwire digging in, and stayed cool to the touch even in humid heat. It felt noticeably different from the synthetic satin pieces I've owned before. I kept instinctively going to readjust it and realizing I didn't need to, so it’s kind of the best sign.

The underwear: Beautiful quality and the silk feels luxurious. My one note: size down. I went with a size L and should have gone M. Silk doesn't have the same stretch as regular fabrics so if you're between sizes, pay attention to their measurements. When I reached out about sizing, they were incredibly kind and sent me the correct size - that kind of customer service really goes a long way for me.

Overall: I found the price more approachable than I expected for a 100% silk set. These are really beautiful, feel incredible, and held up well across different wear scenarios (a very long wedding day, a beach day, date night, running errands, lounging at home, etc). Almost 2 months in and they still feel like new.

I'd consider trying another color after seeing how these hold up over more washes. They need to be gently hand washed in cold water and air dried but def worth it though. I've already recommended these to my girlfriends. Took some pics (had to post in the comments) so you can see how beautiful they are!

Guy purposely ran over baby ducks and killed them in front of me (repost)

Had to repost - had the guys’s personal info, so I’ve removed it …

trigger warning: I’m including a clip of the incident

I am not okay. I’ve been a mess for the last 5.5-6 hours.

Long story short I noticed a momma duck wanting to make sure it was safe for her babies to cross. Nobody was around me so I stopped, put my hazards on and kept an eye out for them. (I have a pic of her crossing with her babies, they were well within view).

Then I see someone driving fast (we’re in a 25mph zone) and so I flash my lights then honk at him because I notice him speeding up.

The asshole killed them in front of me. I couldn’t stop it. I’ve been beating myself up about, maybe I should’ve angled my car to discourage anyone from continuing to pass but I genuinely never thought someone would purposely run them over, especially speed up

I spent about an hour trying to save the last 3 ducklings. One of them I wasn’t sure would make it but it ended up being okay. With the help of some kids that were coming home from school, we managed to find the last duckling that was across the street and get the mom to come back and reunite them all. So that’s the only positive I’m trying to hold onto.

I made sure the kids knew they did a good thing today and that they should be so proud of themselves. They didn’t have to spend 30+ mins helping a stranger try to save the little ducks and get them back to their mom, but they did. Kids - not adults that kept driving by, annoyed I was blocking the road (I did move my car while holding one of the ducks & on the phone with 911).

I have been in contact with police. I have sent them the footage / clips and photos. 2nd to last pix is him running them over but you can’t really see the babies. Last pic is me trying to save the babies that were stunned and hurt. I’ll try to add the clips in the comments.

I was crying and yelling after him while trying to check the other babies, seeing the dead ones guts splattered everywhere and flattened out. He killed I think 3 or 4 of them. He got out of his car before hitting the roundabout and went off on me and sped off.

I am a mess. I can’t stop thinking about what happened.

It’s disturbing so please don’t watch if you don’t have the heart to. I think I’m still in shock to be honest and can’t stop replaying it in my mind…
