My sauna.
After years of planning and preparation I finally built a deck and a sauna at my summer house in northern sweden.
The deck got built in september during 6 days. Started on the sauna this past saturday with the help of a couple of friends. We took the first bath tuesday and finished the sauna on thursday afternoon. Coated the exterior with tar.
I wanted to post pictures without the plastic covers and random building equipment but the weather forecast is showing alot of rain incoming so I have to keep the plastic covers to prevent the tar from dripping on the deck.
It has space for 9-10 people if you love eachother enough. We were 7 people the other day without any problems. The small room that leads in to the sauna is just there to have somewhere to hang towels and store some firewood.
So happy with the result. I cant wait to try it this winter after snowmobiling in the cold.
