Chapter 24: One sided symathy - Chapter 136: Memories in the rain 2

I have to say Kaien/Ichigo echoing each others in Rukia story is one of my favorite thing in the manga.

Just the design of both characters speak for itself.

Bleach writting is the best when characters mirror and contrast each others. Kaien and Ichigo are a good exemple of it.

I always liked the fact Rukia is a tragic heroine. I am a sucker for tragic characters.

She is hunted by the past, and Ichigo is somewhat a ghost of her first love. But unlike Kaien, Ichigo is able to survive and love her back.

And finnaly the rain symbolism add so much to the vibe.
