Button Battery Warning

Centre Com / Palit were giving away light up wristbands with user accessible and removable button battery.

These do not meet the safety standards. (No warning, inappropriate packaging, and now battery security)

I've tried contacting PAX and CentreCom directly (immediately after the event) however being a Sunday, no response.

Just a heads up if you know anyone with kids that attended the event, please let the parents know asap.

WSID My DM is being difficult

i. My PC died a little ago and I don't think he should have, and my DM is being difficult about it. My PC Arcane and the rest of the party entered an illegal casino because we thought the boss worked for the BBEG Graz'zt. Arcane is a "I DON'T CARE" type, he would do anything to get revenge or kill Graz'zt. And because of that he went to a door where boss man was. After I opened the door with my thieves tools a 8 foot tall guard stood right before me. I thought it was a pretty weak guard cus til now all of the guards we met were weak and only a challenge for for levels 1-3. I punched him with a homebrew spell and he survived the hit so we roll initiative. I scream to the party for help. But in like 3 turns i go down to half health I have the maximum amount of health a sorcerer with a plus 3 in constitution could get, somehow. Then i run away because I dont wanna die. Arcane my PC is a wood elf, the guards had a playable species and it was not wood elf. Pretty sure the only species with a 35 ft walking speed is wood elf. So like huh? Then my party tries to deescalate the situation which i went against cus they were evil. Even if they didnt work for Graz'zt they were still part of the local mafia. Then i ask if they worked for Graz'zt and they didn't I rollled insight and it was pretty high so they did not. Then my party who initiated their own attacks, the guards weren't even close to them, got let free. And the mob just let them free! But me the person who was after i found out they didnt work for Grass also trying to deescalate still got attacked. I understand me getting attacked, but my party who were also very much attacking them out of own choice and not out self defense not getting attacked is just flat out weir weird. So I run and I run and I heal and i scream for the guards to help me. Iget knocked to 0 hp. And they keep attacking me. So i fail 3 death saves automatically. Sad music and all that stuff, blah blah blah. I later ask my DM if something can happen so I can still play Arcane. I got really attached to Arcane. He was the first character i ever played, and I played him for like 2 years. His answer is: "no". In my opinion if a player wants to keep playing his dead character they should have a chance to keep playing that character. A side quest or deal or something. But no i can not play Arcane in that campaign again. So i make my new PC while still sad that my favorite and first and longest living character just died cus the session wasn't over. We start playing again. Arcane against mine and his wishes gets a funeral and isn't thrown into the forrest for the bears. My new character is grave robber cus... Arcane was extremely rich and I am not going to let my loot perish with him. I had a robe of arch magi, I wanted to take that thing. I could not. Why? cus after being buried in the ground for 5 hours while not even touching the earth and the dirty stuff it broke and wad heavily damaged. The fight were i died i got punched and barely pierced. the robe survived fire, lightning, etc. Arcane transformed into a giant demonic beast and the robe survived that. But getting put in a wooden box and put 6 feet under was to much. SO, recap. my party got let away for no reason, the encounter was unbalanced, I can't play Arcane anymore, and my robe is broken and useless after practically nothing it hadn't already survived without a scratch. I want to just show him what most of the videos about a PC dying say (which is more understanding to the player). And the reason I didn't say anything at the table about the robe thing was because i didn't wan't to make a scene. please give your best advice and no "leave the campaign NOW" stuff, please. WSID, and is this actually normal for DM's to do?

Sorry for the horrible writing
