I recently went on vacation to the Netherlands, and I'm already missing it there, haha. I originally grew up in the Netherlands, but I've been living in Turkey for a while now. The good thing is that I'm going on vacation again soon. First I'm going to Spain with someone, and after that I'm doing my very first solo trip to Georgia, which I'm honestly so excited about. But unfortunately, in the meantime, I'm just here in Turkey. I've been living here for a while now, and I don't really have any friends here, which is kind of why I'm on this subreddit.

I'm mainly hoping to meet people who actually like talking. I definitely prefer calling over texting. I don't know why, but I just feel like you get to know someone so much better that way. So if we get along, I'd much rather call than send messages all day.

Also, just to make it clear, I'm not looking to date anyone at the moment. If you're messaging me, it's purely for friendship. Or maybe you just feel like enjoying some female energy, haha.

A little bit about me... I'm really into watching movies and TV shows. I recently downloaded Netflix again, but I noticed the Turkish version has way fewer options than the Dutch one, which is honestly kind of disappointing. I'm completely obsessed with documentaries. If you have any recommendations, please send them my way. I especially like documentaries that keep you thinking or have a bit of suspense. Maybe a little less true crime though, because I feel like I've already watched a million of those.

I'm also really into astrology. And before anyone says, "Astrology isn't real," I honestly think that if you actually look into the history of it and where it comes from instead of immediately dismissing it, you'd probably become a little more open-minded about it. I'm definitely a hardcore believer. I'm also quite spiritual, so if we end up talking, you'll probably have moments where you're like, "Wait... what is she talking about?" But hopefully you'll also have moments where you're like, "Actually... I've never thought about it like that before."

I'm also always open to new experiences. That's kind of why I'm so excited about solo traveling lately. If you're also someone who's planning a solo trip or you've done one before, I think we'd have loads to talk about. It would honestly be so funny if we somehow ended up crossing paths somewhere in the world one day.

I'm also thinking about going to Thailand in December, maybe Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party. I'm honestly not really a party person anymore. I used to enjoy that more, but I think I'm kind of growing out of it. I mostly just want to experience it once because it seems like such a cool thing to see. I've been to Indonesia before, and I don't know... it just wasn't really my thing. Maybe Thailand will be different.

Oh, and one more thing... I'm honestly terrible at texting. This entire post was literally made by talking into ChatGPT because I couldn't be bothered to type all of this myself. So if I reply a bit slowly or don't write essays back, that's why. I promise I'm much more of a caller than a texter.
