looking like a sad boy
this is the look i get every time i have to go back to work after lunch
saying NO
so my LO is 2 1/2 years old now. and like all (or many) toddlers, one of her favorite words is “no”.
while i want to teach my child that “no” is a complete sentence and boundaries should be respected, she also says no to things that HAVE to be done .. ie BATH TIME or changing diapers.
she used to love baths and now she tries to refuse them nearly every day/night. i try to make them fun with toys. bubbles, etc., but she will have a total meltdown or temper tantrum and bathing her turns into her rolling around shallow water in the tub like an alligator just long enough for me to wash her within 30 seconds lol
please help!
CCL injury
so about a month ago, my poor boy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on his right side. last week, we noticed he now wouldn’t put ANY weight on that leg after coming inside. turns out now he has a torn CCL (ACL) on the same side😭
has anyone else dealt with this? did you do surgery or let it heal enough for them to walk on it?
he’s scheduled for surgery but it’s not for a couple months and i’m worried about the muscle atrophying 😢
hip dysplasia :(
poor hudson was diagnosed with hip dysplasia last week. he’s only 4 but is pretty overweight (he weighs 106 lbs and should be 75-80) ☹️ i know that is my fault and i’m working on diet and exercise with him.
has anyone else has experience with this and did your pup have a long healthy/active life?
one is a month after our girl was born (2024) and the other is last summer (2025).
don’t mind the mess, i have two dogs, three cats, and a toddler 😅
