I've ate half the paper in my sketchbook and I'm so devastated.

I found a sketchbook when cleaning and got so excited, I sketched in it for a few days, and than the stress of getting lines wrong, and a bunch of other shit came along. There was 70 something sheets orginally, now theres maybe a good 13-15? I'm so disgusted with myself. I loved that sketchbook. I remember the joy the day I got it, and the immaculate joy the day I found it again.

I haven't told anyone, not even my parents about my bad habit of eating non-consumables. It's been happening for years, but my mom once made fun of Pica, saying she thought the people who had it were deranged and insane. I haven't been able to speak up since that day.

As a kid, behind the paint there was this thick papery stuff on my wall, I'd peel back the paint and literally start eating my wall. I still feel I cant say anything, or get the proper help I may need.

Do you think Celestia chose Twilight for a specific reason, OTHER than her hatching Spike?

I've watched the show front and back, and still don't know if there's a defiant written answer to this. (There probably is.)

I personally think it was more so the cutiemark Twilight got. In the scene she hatches spike, we don't see her cutiemark until Celestia points it out, and while it is AFTER she agrees to take Twilight under her wing as her personal student she does so, I still think thats just how to scene was set up for the audience, as Twilight herself didn't realize she had it until Celestia pointed it out.

I think Celestia saw the burst of magic, and already was considering, and seeing Twilights cutiemark was the final reason while she took her under her wing incredibly fast.

In season 4 when Twilight sees the tree of harmony, she audibly goes "My cutiemark!", and when we see during the throwback how the elements looked in the past, the element of magic STILL resembled that of Twilights cutiemark. No doubt Celestia recognized the symbol nearly the instant it was on Twilights flank.
