Is anyone else experiencing an outage in Irvine on 10/5? I contacted support, but received conflicting statements.

For anyone affected by the evacuation orders, please check your homeowners or renters insurance for Additional Living Expense (ALE) Coverage if you're worried about the expenses of relocating (i.e. hotels, AirBnbs, etc..). Try to keep your receipts and organize them (quick photos on your phone).

I understand not everyone will have this and hope the evacuation shelter logistics get better. I've linked a resource guide that was distributed during previous wildfires. The same principle applies as mandatory evacuation orders are considered loss of use.

You can try to talk to your insurance to verify (my reps have always been helpful, so maybe your mileage will vary). Once things have settled, you can get reimbursed for your expenses. Hopefully, it can give you some peace of mind.

Anyone else in Irvine, CA experiencing an outage? There website says there's no outage. My ONT is flashing red. The live agent said they are looking into it. The outage happened around 11pm the night before.
