me, sarabi, age ????, solid gray girl. momther and father brought home kitten few weeks ago. she stay in different room but i see her one time when door open. i hiss!! why that baby here?? she gonna steal mine food and mine father. momther say “rabi no, that’s a baby. we don’t hiss at baby” so am i cloaca for hiss at baby??

(momther here, the kitten stays in a different room away from the big kitties and we are following Jackson Galaxy’s guide for introducing cats. we opened the door to get the kitten more water and sarabi happened to see her)

the higher ups are getting me a new co-teacher but who knows when that’ll be, but regardless of that i don’t want to work in this field anymore. my center had an independence day parade last thursday, families were invited to attend, they could pick up their kids early after the parade was over. the oldest kid in my class (turned 3 last month) saw his grandma there and had a conniption because he couldn’t immediately go with her. i had to carry him the rest of the way while holding the hands of two other kids. i irritated the pinched nerve i have in my back carrying this kid who is screaming and flailing around. my body is in constant pain. i’ve become that coworker who calls in a lot because my body just hurts so much that some days i can’t work through the pain. i’ve been applying to other jobs to have something lined up so i can quit. im going back to school to become a librarian because i still want to work with kids but not like this.

I’ve been working at this center for six months now. I’ve moved rooms due to a toxic co-teacher and am currently with toddlers (1-2). My current co-teacher constantly undermines me and mocks me in front of the kids. One kid has behavioral issues and hits me or scratches me on a daily. I’m so burnt out. I took last Friday and today off because I just don’t have it in me to go into work. I’d quit but I don’t have another job lined up. I just needed to vent.
