Are we the baddies?

I cannot help but think that in the coming decades, Americans are going to be looked at like the Germans were after WWII. No one really cares if we abuse people inside our borders, or the occasional foreigner (if they are brown enough anyways), but with our (I sure don't feel a sense of ownership, and I think it was Trump and Bibi who thought it was a good idea, but the world isn't going to care) attack on Iran, and the resulting closure of the strait, and the loss of 30% of nitrogen fertilizer (and all the other effects), this is going to cause famine, revolution, and depression across the globe. Combined with the USAID cuts, it's going to kill 10s of millions before things are back to normal.

Perhaps I'm wrong, and the strait will reopen tomorrow, and we will all work together to minimize suffering that would be a consequence. But I suspect Trump needs to leave office at a minimum for this to end.

I do wonder why the super wealthy haven't leaned on them enough, they have the most to loose, but I don't think they really understand that.
