Any music gear resellers interested in trying a dashboard that finds you gear to resell I built?

I am a musician and a webdev and I built a website for music gear resellers, that has a dashboard where you pick filters for gear you want to see and the system auto finds new listings from Reverb and Ebay and your dashboard shows you the gear you want to see from both platforms. You can choose gear types like guitars, basses, amps, pedals and any type of music gear. The system will rank good deals with built in price history tool you can lookup sold history instantly from Reverb data, some built in AI resell recommendations and a ton more features.

If anyone is interested in trying this, I can send a code that you can signup for the site for free and use the code to get a trial for 15 days. I haven't had any testers yet other than myself and some friends/family but they aren't resell experts. I would greatly appreciate anyone that is interested. Thanks!

Reverb gear you (or me) can't afford this week lol

I found some of the most insane gear we can't afford this week on Reverb, typical insanity prices. If anyone actually wants to buy any of them for real I will link the article in the comments.

Aristona EW5504 Stereo Reel-to-Reel Recorder (~$3.2 million)

1959 Gibson Les Paul – Lenny Kravitz (~$595,000)

Moog Modular IIIC – Ex-Ennio Morricone (~$475,000)

1962 Gibson Country Western – The Museum Piece Formerly Toured by Jimmy Page, Cat Stevens & Dusty Springfield (~$298,000)

Klon Centaur Professional Overdrive (Short Tail, ~$92,000)

Does anyone really understand the whole Klon thing?

What to do with my music?

I have been a musician for 20 years or so and I played in bands, did the cover band thing, worked on originals with bands, played a lot of live shows... I am in my 40's now and that all fizzled out (which is ok), but now I just create instrumental songs in my DAW at home like the video attached (I move through the song in the video to play parts), I probably have 20-30 songs similar to this style which I guess is Ambient Post-Rock/Metal I guess you would say. The drums are just filler, I need to polish a lot of them up (or use a real drummer) if I want to release, these are mainly like full song drafts. My dilemma is I really don't want to be a YouTuber or spend tons of time on social media just being a slave to the algorithm and hope anyone will listen. I have a real job and just don't have the time to deal with socials, but maybe I should consider it? The internet is so over saturated with music, it's hard to decide what to do. I know personal enjoyment is the most important thing, but part of being a musician is releasing music for people to listen to. I don't know, just kind of stuck in this spot.

My hybrid guitar/bass rig

I play guitar and bass so I wanted one pedalboard to use for both (not at the same time). I use 4 cable method into my Revv G20 or Orange Terror Stamp for guitar or into my Darkglass head for bass, also using the Harmonic Booster for the bass rig. Sorry for the mess of wires. I made my full rig load out here https://searchmusicgear.com/rigs/share/ff0021af0970d709

I built a music gear price history tool, sharing it

I'm a musician and have always been a music gear nerd. When I got into reselling I got tired of looking on Reverb all the time for price history, as a lot of times it gives estimates without relying on actual recent sales. I am a web developer and decided to build my own tool and I made it free for everyone since it uses Reverb public data.

If anyone tries it let me know!

Any musicians in here? I built tools to help find, buy, flip gear & build rigs

I’ve been lurking for a while and finally decided to share my side project. I have put a ton of time into it (like you guys on your projects). I am a passionate musician and a gear nerd as well, so this has been a super fun project for me!

I built SearchMusicGear as a tool that pulls in eBay + Reverb listings (at it's most basic level), but I wanted to add a bunch of helpful features on top of that:

  • Sold history & price tracking
  • AI Gear Analyzer (tells you if it’s a good buy, potential flip, or pass)
  • Gear Alerts (get emailed when your target items appear or drop in price)
  • AI Rig Designer (just launched — helps you build guitar/pedal/synth rigs with live listings)
  • Reseller Dashboard with smart filters and deal scoring

At first I made this locally for me because I hated wasting time searching and guessing on prices of gear to purchase or resell. Money is tight, so I had a hard time making a decision to actually buy something, so I built a lot of these tools for that. Then the fun ones dawned on me like the AI Rig Designer, it's fun seeing what it builds.

I’d love any honest feedback from you guys.

If you're interested in testing it, I can give you a beta / pro account so you can try the full Reseller Dashboard and AI Rig Designer. Although I have worked a long time on this, I am just now putting it out there to get feedback. Thanks!
