Primm and Dewy

I have become a snarent and I love them so much!

Both rescued from work! They’re in separate enclosures for now due to the size difference.

Primm is my big bestie and our new friend here is Dewy!

Pictures for the size difference as well as bonus picture of last nights eggplant! The difference in the amount they ate is just really cute to me. 💚 snails!

Putting two garden snails together

So I found Primm a couple weeks ago at work and brought him home.
Today at work, they found another snail and instead of killing it, my coworkers came to me and asked me if I wanted to bring it home so I said of course!

Anyway, there is a huge size difference between the two. I have them in separate enclosures right now, but was wondering if it’d be possible to put them in one. Or if they’d even enjoy a companion? They’re both Cornus.

Pics for size

Primm is huge and my new buddy is like a quarter of his size.

Protein source

Does anyone have issues getting their snail to eat protein? I know they only need it about once a week, but my little dude hates mealworms. Or I’m pretty sure, it was the most expressive disgust I’ve seen on a little creature so that’s how I’m registering it haha.
Anyway, what protein sources have you had luck with?

Primm is obsessed with Eggplant

So far Primm loves Zucchini, eggplant and sweet potato! Carrots are okay, doesn’t show much interest in snap peas or mushrooms.

My New Best Friend!

I found this buddy at work a couple of weeks ago! Coworkers were freaking out saying that they needed to kill him so I quickly said “NO”, took him home and made an enclosure (thanks to many helpful posts on here). I just moved him to a much larger tank with coconut fiber substrate, some moss, a stick he loves to climb (I put food up on the side of the tank with it stabbed through the stick, literally the only way he’ll eat) some bark. I’d like to buy him one of those moss hiding hole things! I love him so much! I named him Primm.

Anyway! I thought Primm was a fully matured garden snail but I’m not so sure? Any ideas?

Picture of Primm with a hat on for reference

Edit to add: TIL Primm is a giant 😂

The Holy Grail that is Biz

Thank you a million times to this subreddit and all the information it holds.

It’s my first time using Biz and I just soaked my work clothes for the last hour and the water was DISCUSTING. I am both in awe and totally grossed out.

Thank you for teaching me your ways, eternally grateful.
