different methods to bulid bodies?

you may have seen my previous post on creating my own scx based on a personal custom design of mine

I've tought about it and I'm confident that whit enough labour I would probably get a pretty good result

however I wanted this to be organized proprely to avoid any problems during the process

while thinking about what to do, I realized that I wasn't sure on how to do my own custom body

as such, considering that I need to "replicate" ( whit a decent amount of detail, although I am lucky that this design does not contain very complicated body lines or anything that might be hard to replicate, and will only require me to have a few holes to add lights, grilles etc etc

what is the best way to proceed?

is 3d printing the only real option?

ps: I will be painting it olive drab so no need for a lot of sanding to get a shiny surface

making my own "realistic" bulid?

i have some experience whit rc cars, i own a large buggy but bringing it around to use is very hard unless im going in very select places, i saw that these small scx chassis existed, and also saw a lot of very pretty artisanal bodies being sold on etsy in various styles so i was thinking of buying a chassis and creating something i could shove in my backpack whitout too much trouble

i also practice car design in my spare time (using autocad and inkscape for decoration) i was wondering if wether or not it was feasable to have my own body made out of a 3d model to achieve a more or less "realistic" bulid from a custom design

in this case i was planning on a truck that is about the same dimentions of a late 90s-early 2000s ford f350 super duty (whit 37 inch tires, if you want to see the actual thing im taking inspiration from look up "COMBATT truck") on an scx30

would it be feasable? i don't have a lot of experience whit 3d modeling but im confident that the possibility of having my own design literally driving around in real life even at scale would push me trough the learning process
