First time out to dial in some things. Very capable so far, gotta figure out all those loose wires. This was my first ground up build. I would recommend building one.
Hey gang, servo burned out and new one installed, I know the sound I’m hearing will burn this one up if I can’t figure it out, but I’m
Having a heck of a time getting the trim even. Not sure if my buddy played with the options on the FlySky controller. Thought about it appreciated!
I’m trying to get my front axle to sit back a little bit more so that the servo will go behind the grill. Currently on gladiator/power wagon links front and rear. I have adjustable servo mount but if I put it back then the horn will hit on the diff. Thanks for any input!
First rc car. Axial C10, Injora 50T motor and transmission combo, Injora 40mm big bore shocks, and some off brand 52mm tires and brass/aluminum wheels from Amazon. This thing is lots of fun.
Hey yall, I'm considering getting the scx24 (or the 30, still deciding), and i was wondering what upgrades i should get if i get the rig. My max budget for everything would be 225. I was wondering if that budget is enough to have decent performance (since ive heard it's pretty bad when stock), while also having good durability because i'd hate having to deal with something breaking after just a little while. appreciate it yall.
Gday guys
Running a Scx24 gladiator stock with injora wheels and 62mm or 64mm I can’t remember tyres the are huge. Anyways as u can see the body rubs and it has no links or anything yet.
Basically where should I start I have about $150-$200aud to spend on some upgrades I definitely will need a servo but hit me with some things to help the handling and no rubbing etc.
Cheers
Gonna give them a proper test run today. Running 43g of bbs in each front tires- no foams. Sidewall stability sucks- some kind of printed disks would help tremendously. Also included a pic of the foams I used to run
Got her dialed for 155 😎 Available on my Etsy/ebay!
What's up guys, crawled for a long time years ago with an axial wraith. Recently I bought my 4 year old and myself some matching gladiator scx24s for his recent b day.
So far ive ordered us both (all from injora) brass 4 links, brass steering links, brass front steering knuckles , 11.5kg servos(not sure if the stock esc can power these??), and steel driveshafts.
My main questions are what tires should we run? We typically are crawling damp, slippery rocks, try to stay out of mud but do crawl a good bit of dirt hills n that.
Also will want new inserts im sure.
Wheels, I was going to make another injora order for some wheels, are they good enough?
Can anybody answer on the injora 11.5kg servo needing a bec?
Final question is there any different bodies i can buy for our crawlers being its the gladiator version, i understand they are extended a bit? I'd like to get a yota body for mine if possible.
Thanks all!
Got this used rig and the last guy cooked it.
Meus v1 axles for quad steer, steel drive shafts, heavy lgrp links. Stock trans,
So much glitter.
A little over a week ago I bought my very first SCX24 Ford Bronco. I went to charge it last night and I got a flashing orange and green light. I know that means something is wrong, I did try different charging bricks and a different cable. Do I need a new battery or charger or both. Any advice for the newbie would be greatly appreciated.
Needs some finishing touches but it hasn't stopped me from running it. My dad built one Suburban out of two when I was a kid and this is based on that. He's loved the nostalgia so far. The white TJ is a deadbolt for scale.
Guess who didn't realise the different models of the scx24 had different wheelbase lengths? And guess who ordered the wrong size Injora linkages for their Deadbolt?
(Me. It was me)
Started the hobby not long ago, did some damage to a pretty stock Gladiator (my first rig) decided to just rip off the bandaid and go all in. Not a stock part in sight. MEUS Mantis based, MEUS axles. Infinitely more capable. Loving the hobby, and community so far!
I’m completely new to crawlers and RC in general, so I could really use some advice.
First off… yes, I know, it’s a Gatekeeper rip-off chassis from AliExpress. I had no idea about that when I bought it. The links are also from AE…
This is my first attempt at building something reasonably capable from scratch.
How does this look so far? Are the links mounted where they should be? What about the shocks? Are the link lengths reasonable? The wheelbase is sitting at around 150 mm right now.
Does this have the potential to become a decent crawler, or is there anything I should change?
Where should I go from here, and what else do I need? I’ve got an Injora Fat Viper on the way, along with Injora’s aluminum transmission. But after that?
Wheels and tires recommendations? Will I even be able to make full use of the steering angle from the MEUS axles with this chassis/setup?
Any advice, criticism, or tips are very welcome!
