And that’s a wrap on the ACES Scouring Sands box (plus a Legendary Mad Cat).

I’ve done mine in Clan Jade Falcon, Zeta Galaxy. You can flip through the gallery to see each ‘mech and the Fulcrums individually. I did also make a short step by step guide on how to freehand the CJF insignia. Happy to share that with anyone who’d like it.

A campaign is now underway since I’ve finally finished these - just in time for the ACES Snowblind box!

Finished up 3 of the OpFor units from the Scouring Sands ACES box. I’ve done mine in the Clan Jade Falcon Zeta Galaxy scheme, more of a Jade green with light grey trim.

All I need to do on the remaining units is laser/weapon jeweling, and Clan/Galaxy insignia. Fiddly little bits but easy in small batches. I am quite happy with how my workflow goes for freehand CJF insignia now, so it’s a little less intimidating (last time I did them was on my Lambda Galaxy Star).

Clan Jade Falcon, Zeta Galaxy.

Finished up a test model for my ACES box - swipe for more angles and a WIP group shot!

I had a duplicate Bounty Hunter Mad Cat, so I painted this one up as the S configuration in CJF, Zeta Galaxy colours. Happy with how it turned out, as I went for more speedy techniques on the green. The idea was to pull more on the “jade” side of the spectrum with VMC Emerald Green and some ProAcryl Jade. Looks neat in person and happy with how it shifts a bit with the light into some cooler tones.

Finishing up the rest of the ACES units shortly and will likely add a few more iconic CJF ‘mechs to this force as time goes on.

Finished up my version of Brave, one of the four survivors from the Killenium Butcher Vignette of Death box for Kingdom Death: Monster.

Super fun boardgame, but also great miniatures. Painting this box up for a friend who has a great collection. A nice palette cleanser from my usual ‘mechs and anthropomorphic animals.

Just completed the second Star for my Clan Wolf Gamma Galaxy units, and added decals to the first 5 that I completed previously. Took the opportunity to do a big group shot (apologies for the orange “glow” - hard to photograph this many).
