how hard is JAPN_V 361 ???

hi guys im gonna be a first year student at ubc from the fall and i did a placement interview for japanese and i was told i should sign up for JAPN 361…
though i am glad that i got recommended a pretty difficult course, i am also pretty scared. how hard is JAPN 361?? i learned japanese through calling friends every day and practicing speaking and listening everyday, but i do not have much confidence in kanji. i can message in kanji and read some kanji, but i cannot write any kanji(i can only write hiragana) which i know is cooked so im highkey scared. atleast japn 361 is from semester 2 but i still am really scared. to the people who took japn 361 how challenging was it? im afraid i wont be able to do well even though i have a couple of months to study myself.

i figured out how to withdraw my sfu admission

hi guys this is just to the people who were also wondering how to withdraw your sfu offer that was just accepted.
i emailed reginfo@sfu.ca and gave them a reason i am contacting them, and why i chose to withdraw my admission. i also included the faculty i was admitted to and the major. i of course included my full name, and my SFU student number and proceeded to ask if anything else was needed. the next day, they contacted me again and told me they contacted the admissions team to let them know that i would no longer be attending sfu. they also told me no refunds but thats chill because my only reason for not attending is because i got accepted to a different university. 😇😇

last school concert rant

my friends and I missed our cue for our last concert as highschoolers.. and my 2 friends decided to go on stage at the last song(there were 3 songs) and it probably kind of ruined it for the audience. are they in the wrong? they just wanted to participate in the last song. and i feel bad for not going up but i felt like going up would ruin everything.
