Hi everyone,

I am looking to switch careers into the insurance world- specifically underwriting. I’m late 20s and have a masters degree in psychology. Did that for a few years and am now working for a business as their financial secretary. I’ve been at my current role for 2 and a half years.

I have several family members in the insurance business who own a small independent agency. Underwriting interests me for many reasons and I’m looking for some advice on how to get started. It seems many large carriers only hire once a year and I’ve missed the window?

I’m just in the early stages of thinking about this switch, ideally the end of this year or beginning of next I’d like to make a move. Any encouragement welcome.

Got really bored this week and joined the $20 (🙄) fan club. I used to be a member back when it was $5 a month and missed the old fan club episodes. I plan to only have this for a month, so hit me with your best fan club (or in general) episodes.

Planning to grab a ticket to tomorrows show. My two friends have tickets together and I’m having trouble finding any in their section, let alone close to them. Has anyone gone alone? I’m a female so a little nervous about not knowing who I’ll be seated with. Also nervous about the stadium not having service and not being able to contact my friends to get in touch with them about meeting during/after.
