The timeless melody fiasco has demonstrated that infold is more than happy to:

1. Secretly change an outfit after release

2. Listen to a loud minority and enact change without consulting opinions of all players

Now 1 is absolutely huge: any changes occuring to an outfit, whether it be the design itself, or any fixes to "postive" bugs (like crimson feather, which was thankfully reverted) should be illegal.

The gesture itself also fundamentally destroys trust, as there is now no guarantee that something you paid or pulled won't be changed in the future. This is quite apparent with the dyeing issue on the new 680+300 shop outfit—it may well be a bug, however I personally can't be confident in that fact anymore.

Unless Infold releases a proper statement and apology about timeless melody 1.5 style and reverses the change/makes both versions available, there is no guarantee that they won't do it again.

On 2, I think this is also important as this may have an impact on the development and direction of a lot of things— story, outfits etc. Particularly the current drama surrounding censorship, the cry for Nikki to be more "modest" by an extreme portion of the fanbase could impact the artistic direction of future outfits. As Infold has already met their demands once, those players may become more aggressive and unreasonable in their demands. As they say, give them an inch and they'll take a mile.

Although I do doubt the situation will go that far, listening to that kind of minority can't ever ​be a good idea. There's a reason they're a minority...

Anway, I digress. I do hope they'll make a statement soon though, I dont want to feel like the product that I'm buying is subject to change due to a whim.
