Clobetasol frequency/breaks?

I have been using clobetasol just when my flares get bad- for example, 1x a day for 4 days and then a 4 day break or 2x a day for 2 days and then a 2 day break. Is this ok? I’m assuming the week-long break from clobetasol Is meant only for when you are using it for a week straight but I’m not sure.

What I’m dealing with now- infections, severity etc

I have been having this flair up for about a month now - I have only had DE for about 4 years but this is definitely my worst one yet because of how dry the skin got which I don’t think has happened before. I’m posting because I’m worried about infections/severity of infection of some of the blisters. Some of them are filled with yellow/whitish pus/fluid rather than the clear fluid they usually are. I circled a few of those but it’s somewhat of a bad picture. I have very bad health anxiety and I’m wondering if this could have happened because I went swimming in a lake a few days ago with no protection on the blisters/cuts, because I popped some of them, scratched the skin etc. I also struggle a lot with skin picking so that makes it worse. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has had a few blisters like that that are yellow/white and if you think it is a bad infection. I am going to the doctor tomorrow morning but want to see what y’all think as well.
