hello!

this is an old corvette of mine (I think the 3rd or 4th one I made?) that I recently reworked. I first made it before learning to offset parts so took the opportunity to make the hull lines a little cleaner.

I see it as a sibling model to this one, just a little more rugged, hover-capable, etc. kind of like a multirole variant instead of a pure fighter or something.

if such a thing were possible the wings would swivel to accommodate different flight profiles but that's mostly just me dreaming :)

I think maneuverability is in the 700s, range ~1200ly, and four cannons that make quick work of dreadnoughts

let this one collect dust for a while and forgot that it kind of rips! and now it's prettier :)

calling it Cursor now since it kind of looks like one from below. maybe I should change the color to black~

don't think I can ever build a base outside of polar regions now. perpetual twilight is too cool! :)

I wanted to make a rust bucket with hulking proportions, and ended up with a kind of Nostromo-looking corvette. Low maneuverability, but generous warp range. I've failed at recreating the Nostromo (and Corbelan...and Prometheus..) a few times but do feel like this one's got the spirit!

spent a lot of time making the interior feel cramped and tangled with cables too. except for the room dedicated to MU/TH/UR of course ;)

I always like the idea of putting in things that look like purpose-built equipment for the craft, in this case it's hanging lamps as "antenna" (for detecting anomalies) and in the landing bay, a giant cable spool as a ratcheting winch for lifting cargo.

if only we could winch scrap piles!
