Family of five, all with nexus. Three kids aged 15, 12 and 2. Have been using nexus fine for the past year or so, probably 10 times. Most recently crossed into US without issue but coming back only 3 cards registered on the scanner at Ambassador bridge. The agent said the two cards that didn’t scan weren’t activated and to check the TTP website. This was for the 15 and 12 year old. They still let us pass without issues.

I logged into TTP website and it says the membership is valid, no messages or notifications or anything on their cards. Renewal is 2027+. Is there any other place I should check?

I am managing screen time for two kids - each has an iPhone and an iPad. Settings are identical for both kids and on both devices. 2hr for games and entertainment and downtime from 10pm to 7am.

Everything was working fine until about two weeks ago - kid1 iPhone 16 had one night where screen time showed the settings app was used for 24h and then the next day after rebooting it would not register any usage into app categories. Eg all apps were showing up as grey unnamed other so the app limit categories weren’t working. The time still seems to be registering but not to any app? It only lists websites in the most used list for that device and no apps.

I tried rebooting, turning off screen time, turning it back on. Turn off manage child, turn off share across devices. Logout of iCloud on the phone. Remove child from family (he’s 14 so it isn’t blocked). Reset all network settings, reset all settings. Even tried the date forward to clear caches trick. Nothing works. Somehow the device app database seems broken?

Battery app still registers correct usage (eg I can see what kid1 was using correctly there).

I saw iOS 27 has updated screen time settings so I thought updating might reset the database but apparently that only activates if all devices in the family are updated to iOS 27. So his phone is now on ios27. But I can’t update the rest to a beta (wife phone and my phone). If I stop managing screen time from my device and turn off shared screen time settings I can see the new screen time settings on his phone. But it still doesn’t register usage properly even when not sharing settings and just setting up screen time locally.

Last thing I can think of is complete wipe and reinstall. Anything else I can try before that?

I found one other person complaining about similar issue on Apple forum and they didn’t have a solution other than it fixed itself some time later…
