Interestingly, I wasn’t contacted about having to pay any customs? It just turned up today! I presume that means I won’t have to, as I was of the understanding that any customs are to be paid before you receive your package.

UK order, should I be expecting extra costs for taxes/customs? How much would this likely be?

I’m not very well-versed in this; I have little to no experience with international shipping, especially those presumably connected with the US.

There was no information on the site (that I could see) about customs etc, so I’m not sure whether I should be expecting extra costs? Those who are more experienced with ordering from abroad/the US, do you know how much of an additional charge would this be?

Shipping update & classic keypad delay!

Hey all! Updates some may find helpful, especially those in a similar boat.

I’m in the UK, and ordered at the start of June. My order included the classic tile, and was therefore set to be delayed by 2-3 weeks. Due to my current phone acting up (TT970 often not letting me answer calls etc) I need a phone sooner than that. I decided that, for the time being, I’d skip out on the classic tile - I could always reorder once the issues were resolved, and I could even just wait a little longer and order alongside the game tile. Although the D-pad is a huge part of the appeal for me, I think I will be using the qwerty as my primary tile, so I may find that the classic tile won’t be necessary for me.

For some reason, I’ve been repeatedly unable to login to the side phone site, including through the orders portal. This isn’t a recent issue for me; I made an account prior to the initial release, and have met errors when attempting to login since initial US release. [Side note: has anyone else had similar issues?]

Because of this, and at the suggestion of the email informing of the delay, I emailed support about editing my order. I also wanted to be sure that the change to my order would be certain to result in putting the shipping back on its original timeline, for delivery in late June.

Here’s the couple of email responses that others may find useful! Not only for those hoping to remove the tile, but also in terms of general shipping timelines!

I would say it’d be worth contacting support regardless of if you are able change the order yourself, just to ensure that shipping time would be adjusted, but it’s probably not necessary(?)

Website issues

When I try to go to the site, this pops up instead? I’ve since managed to get through to my basket, but if I try to click on any items to view them, or try to proceed to checkout, I am send right back to this screen.
