Found him in a local game shop’s bargain bin. I’ve heard talk about proxying these as Warpsmiths but I have been looking for a Chaos Lord in terminator armor and he’s wearing Cataphractii armor.

Hey all. With the release of 11th and the proper forming of my 4th Legion themed army, I’m wondering which route to go for my newest acquisition.

I’m still learning the rules and building up an army. As of now I’ve got an IW Combat Patrol, Kravek, and some Mutilators built with Lord Discordant waiting.
I’m wondering what would be good additions or combinations to play these detachments. The goal is to eventually get up and have the flexibility to be able to play all of them with my friends.

I glued my Kravek with a tendril right in front of his combi-Bolter. I checked the box art and realized it’s wrong and the tendril should be higher on the right.
My options are to break the tendril off and re-glue.
Or.
Put a dead body in the claw like he executed an enemy and didn’t look at it (like a badass).
From what I’ve read in 10th, he’s like a designated CSM tank hunter. Not fully daemon engines, but maybe I could use him to buff Havocs.
I’d also accept tips on how to change his face to be more Iron Warriors-like.
First time assembling so sorry if this is a dumb question. I got 2/3rds through my Mutilators when I realized I don’t really vibe with the black legion details. So I removed them with a plastic knife for the last mutilator on the right so I could apply Iron Warriors decals and hazard stripes to the shoulders and shins.
Does anyone have any tips on grinding and/or cutting off the Eye of Horus/black legion details on completed models? I’d rather not break them and the glue has set up.
I have Kravek Morne, a Mutilator three stack, and a IW combat patrol box.
I’d like to start building out some Daemon Engines so if the community has any recommendations on what to build into it would be welcome.
