Found him in a local game shop’s bargain bin. I’ve heard talk about proxying these as Warpsmiths but I have been looking for a Chaos Lord in terminator armor and he’s wearing Cataphractii armor.
Suggestions would be immensely helpful, thank you all in advance.
I don't really like the chaos termie shoulders that come with the kit, so I swapped them with the Horus Heresy ones and wanted to know if yall do the same (and would very much love to see your kitbashes too 🖤💛)
Posted earlier a little older pictures of this model but I managed to finish it and decided to get some quick final pictures of it being fully built, at 3AM.... I made it more warsmithy with the servo autocannon since it more of looked like a warlord fitting for any chaos legion pretty much but now it's closer to a proper warsmith than it was before.
Also reddit too seems to have screwed over the image quality
Hated this stupid ugly alien but liked all the other stuff in the box so converted him from a lizard to a mutated/possessed Marine
Finally finished! Took me 3 tries, but I'm finally happy with dead yellow man :)
Always had bad painting anxiety and that stopped me from getting into this hobby for a long time. Finally just decided to go for it. Happy for a first attempt, but definitely open to constructive criticism. As you all say, painting the lines was by far the hardest part and turned out pretty scuffed lol
Using vallejo paints and have been mixing as I go lol. Took some advice from a brother here to brush up in pink and washed/contrasted with yellow. The last pic is my previous attempt and I do see the improvement. He definitely needs some cleanup before the muckdown haha. Any additional tips or corrections are greatly appreciated!

Hey all, currently have a little over 1300 points with my models and trying to build to 2000 points.
The this is mainly using the iron warriors combat patrol box.
The inner nerd says a chaos knight desecrator plus defiler to make exactly 2000 points but am unsure

So the cannons profile is 6 attacks but there is two guns, does that mean there are 12 attacks?
