I´ve been cooking again

My new Destroyer, inspired from the Mars Battlecruiser.

I tried to build a ship that is more practical, resource-efficient and less CPU intensive, while maintaining it´s firepower supremacy and good maneuverability. The result is this compact and formidable warship.

Comming in at 5.400 tons, the Phobos Destroyer is capable of planetary flight up until 1.2 g or 11.77 m/s^2. Equiped with six jumpdrives the Phobos can reach a jumpingrange of 2800 kilometers. This warship is armed with 13 gatling turrets, 16 artillery turrets and 6 railguns. It is planed to equip the Phobos with up to 8 missiles, including a printing and launching system. Furthermore between 8-10 AA custom turrets will be installed in later versions. In its current iteration the ship can go from 0-100 m/s in 6,2 seconds and from 100-0 m/s in about 7 seconds. A hybrid propulsion system has been used, utilizing both hydrogen and ion thrusters for redundancy. Energy is provided by one large reactor and 30 batteries for a combined energy output of 660 MW. Fuel is carried in 12 large hydrogen tanks and produced by 16 O2/H2 generators. Since it is a warship, the Phobos has limited cargo capacity and is also not outfited with any production facilitys.

I am planning on making this ship my basis for dozens of iterations. So far I will build a slightly bigger carriers version, a heavy destroyer/cruiser version and also a striped down low cost low PCU version.

My first ever Warhammer figure

I just painted my first Space Marine. It is still work in progress and I have much to learn, but this is the result after 5h of painting. Any recomendations or tipps for a newcomer?

Mars Battlecruiser

After at least 100 hours of work, I can finally say that I finished this project. This is my biggest and most heavily armed warship I have ever built. It took hours upon hours of trial and error to get the missile launching system to work and many hours more to calibrate and fine-tune every system to ensure that everything works as intended. I redesigned this ship so many times, I lost count. The funny thing is that I only built this ship because I couldn't figure out how to build rotary cannons, so I figured that the only way to compensate for my lack of knowledge was to slap as many guns onto the hull as possible. I am glad I went with that route because the end result is amazing. The lessons I learned from this build will help me immensely in future builds. I hope you will enjoy this creation and have a lot of fun crashing servers with it :P

Mars sets his sails

It is finally done!

The Mars Battlecruiser sets its sails. Take command of this powerful warship. My most brutal, most vicious creation ever. No weapon can stop it, no punishment can break it. This is a conqueror there is no one that can match him. His armor is thick, his defenses impregnable, his speed terrific. His armament unlike any other warship. Railguns, artillery, missiles, autocannons, and Gatlings—there is no weapon that Mars does not wield. Engulf the battlefield in smoke and fire, let his cannons light up the starless skies, and shatter any resistance with the mightiest of all battlecruisers!!

Need help with interior

Hi everyone, since my last post, I have been busy continuing to work on this ship, so I can put it on the workshop. Changes will be listed further down below.

The only thing I now struggle with is finishing the interior and coloring. No matter what I do, I'm just not satisfied with how everything turned out, especially if I compare my interior to some interior designs you can find on the workshop. So, is there anyone willing to help me out and work together with me on this matter?

Hit me up if you are interested.

Changes I have made to the ship:

-MORE DAKKA!!! The railgun count went up from 20 to 30

-Railguns are no longer exposed but tucked behind heavy armor, staircasing method has been used.

- Reduced PCU count from 197.000 to just under 150.000

- Reduced missiles from 54 to 16

-Reduced welders from 12 to 4

-Overhauld the launching mechanism for the missiles. They can now be launched while moving.

-Added more thrust to the sides for improved maneuvering

-Added more armor to the sides to prevent a magazine explosion if a railgunsalvo is fired in a 90° angle towards the sides

-Reduced weight from 28.000 tons to 27.400 tons empty. Combat weight is now just under 28.000 tons

-Fuel capacity increased to 30 large hydrogen tanks.

-Replaced the nuclear reactors with four prototech fusion reactors that are controlled by an event controller that only activates the reactors if the railguns are recharging.
