A NL banner with a slight demoralisation side effect for loyalist guardsmans.
Marine body and head are from Red Corsairs, the arm with pole is the librarian from the Space Wolves Kill Team, the corpse torso is from one of the AOS Nurgle kits, and commissar hat is from the ogryn kit
The regular Defiler kit doesn't really fit with the look of my army(and I could also never find one actually on sale), so I went for a kitbash based around the Saturnine dreadnought. I was shocked how well those rounded chaos spike pieces for the shoulders, same with the loin cloth. Almost like it was meant to be...
I really like the dark apostle model and I would get him for my iron warriors but I want a chaplain for my blood angels. I’m thinking to either get the indomitus Chaplain, the AOS lord relictor, or the dark apostle. Do we think this model is too chaosy or is it fine? I think it could look pretty grim dark or something of the sort. P.S. he would be leading death company guys.

Going for dynamic combat action / running pose for him.
Comtemptor dread with some bits from a swap meet. The head is from some icon bearer in AoS. Not sure on the details, he was $5.
Wish I had been a bit more patient, but i like the vibe
I recently started collecting marines and I've been really warming up to the pre-primaris kits. Thing is I also really like the techy phobos "tacticool" look, so now I wanna try kitbashing them together. I know the scale is different but I reckon I can make it work, headswaps and whatnot.
So my question is what are some good value kits to look for that have lots of cool extra bits and build options?
What have you guys found to be the best way to organize bits for you.
I use to have it by component, gun, two handed gun, head, shoulder pads, yknow stuff like that. But I find myself always circling back to random bins full of random bits. My collection has grown extensively these past few months due to eBay and birthday purchases and it has gotten severely out of hand. I have a great many bins that can be used for sorting so space isn’t an issue, simply the organizational system itself.

My first attemts at kitbashing how did I do?
Some kitbashes i put together using the sancitifer, inquisitorial agents, wildercorp hunters n a random warrior priest.
Latest W.I.P on my morkastompa (name is also W.I.P...)
Most of the body work is done (so many rivets...). I tried using different textures for the plates, and added some stippled sprueglue on a few to give the impression of cast iron.
Still some work left on the arms (gubbins, pistons, wiring, meky-knowwotz), as well as a few details like engines, 2x twin bolters, rockets, other details, as well as a partial interior - the left side skirts lift up, revealing the leg and some more mechanical detail, and the assault ramp opens revealing a partially modelled interior.
Looking forward to get this painted!
Following up on my post from last week, I hope my bad photos do not hinder the overall quality too much.
I absolutely love the Plague marine kit, but I didn't want to get a second box (with the same poses), so I started making mine from intercessors, green stuff and a few bits ! It's been so much fun to learn sculpting on them, can't wait to finish the box, would love to know what you guys think !

I have a warband that uses nighthaunt parts in place of the more chaosy parts of csm and I had an idea to make bikers with the mounts from the dreadblade harrows kit and was wondering if anyone was able to tell me the rough proportions before I buy all the kits I'd need for this. Ik the base size Is different I can fix that but would the bikers be to big for the mounts, if so how big? Cause a green stuff saddle can fix that.
Id like to ask for the helo of reddit in this matter :D i made this conversion for a hero/elite for my ravenquard succeasor chapter. While like it overall, something seems a bit off, for now its just a prototype, lots of greenstuff and lil bits still needed. Help and suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

I realized I try to incorporate everything I like about space marines in one chapter, my first finalized homebrew The Umbral Claws, adept Xenos hunters and artifact keepers serving as ONE of the chamber militants of the Ordo Chronos. In my head canon the Ordo Chronos acts much like The SCP foundation of the Inquistion.
I kept trying to incorporate everything I want in a space marine chapter in my Umbral Claws, just to name a few:
Knight Aesthetic
Bespoke Weaponry
A bit of Chaos or Xenos flare since they serve the Inquistion and it gives me a cop out for cool kitbashes.
Rugged Black Shield vibes
Augmetics
First born vibes and heresy equipment.
However my Umbral Claws have evolved and taken on an identity of their own as they’ve continued to develop in my mind, so I decided to put everything that didn’t fit in with their eventual Space Wolf aesthetic into a new chapter entirely. The second chamber militant of the Ordo Chronos: the Astral Glaives. They are inspired by Dark Fantasy knights, trying to go for a dark souls aesthetic. While the Umbral Claws are the Ordo’s answer to Xenos Threats, the Astral Glaives serve as their answer to Chaos Threats. The Umbral Claws will fill my want of kitbashing cool Xenos weapons, while my Astral Glaives can fill my kitbashing cool chaos weapons. My Pirates (Eastern Fringe Raiding Company) get both so it works out 😂.
This association allows me to do everything I enjoy when kitbashing my Umbral Claws, while also exploring a new design philosophy and process. It also allows me to use a lot of dark angels miniatures I’ve had for awhile and a lot of bits I don’t think fit my Umbral Claws like swords and more ornate decor. With both chapters serving the Ordo i can also use the minis interchangeably in games, so for example if I need Blade Guard Vets for a list, but I only have my head takers for my “space wolves” I can just use my inner circle companions from my “dark angels” to compensate.
I’m thinking of painting them a bright but dirty silver, with blue as their supporting color. Totally not setting them up to be similar to the Astral Claws I have no idea what you’re talking about.
My Cavemen and Pirates must now deal with the Knights joining the fray. I’m gonna have to think of another niche when I make a truly chaotic warband instead of just renegades 😂.
