What are some must-have kits for kitbashing space marines?

I recently started collecting marines and I've been really warming up to the pre-primaris kits. Thing is I also really like the techy phobos "tacticool" look, so now I wanna try kitbashing them together. I know the scale is different but I reckon I can make it work, headswaps and whatnot.

So my question is what are some good value kits to look for that have lots of cool extra bits and build options?

What vehicle kits come with the most decorative bits and stowage?

I love the look of tanks and other vehicles with extra bits like sandbags, gas cans, ammo tins, spare equipment, etc. It makes them look very used and real in a way I don't think cleaner models do.

What kits come with the most extra stuff to tack on? Also if there's any 3rd party stuff you'd recommend, that works too

Starting trazodone tonight, could use some firsthand advice.

I've had sleep issues since I was a kid and I've been taking melatonin most nights since. It wasn't doing anything anymore so I once again mentioned this to my doctor (not the first time)

This time my doctor prescribed me 50mg trazodone and said to take it after dinner. However, most of what I'm reading online suggests taking it right before bed. Not entirely sure which one to go with.

I was also considering doing a half dose to start, but I don't know if that'd be enough to work.

Any advice for somebody who's never taken sleep aid meds before?

So unironically, how does one put together a good historical kit?

We've seen plenty of Amazon's finest arms and armor on here, but what are some actual good sources to get armor pieces or sets?

Y'know assuming you don't have a local armorsmith and a small fortune to spend on custom pieces.

Joined an escalation league, how should I build up to 1k?

I have the Combat Patrol, another 10 troops, and an Artillery Team. I'm supposed to bring a Heavy Support unit next week. Any advice for how I should build up from here?

I've got to finish a small Guard army in like 2 months. Any tips for building and painting faster?

I joined a league at my local LGS meant for newer players to build an army and start learning 11th edition. The requirements for the final event are "1 Leader, 3 Troops, 1 Elite, 1 Fast Attack, 1 Heavy Support at least 3 colors and based"

I'm planning on bringing Death Korps and I already have the Combat Patrol so I should only need some troops, an elite option, and some kind of tank. I'm not 100% on what units I plan to get yet. There's no points goal, just to fill out those unit types.

Problem is I'm pretty slow when it comes to building and painting and i don't have a ton of spare hobby time most days. I just tend to get caught up on the little details like smoothing out mould lines and painting the tiny details. The requirements are only 3 colors and bases, but I'd like to have them be fairly presentable by the end.

Any tips for getting a lot of models built and finished quickly?

What's the biggest greatsword you've found?

This is mine. It's 3.36kg and taller than my max height Willie.

Sensory friendly chains or cords for a necklace?

I'm not sure where to ask this but I figured people who make jewelry might know. Apologies if this is out of guidelines.

I recently got engaged, but I can't wear rings due to my work. My fiancé suggested putting it on a necklace instead. I'm not much of a jewelry person, as the feeling of stuff on my neck/fingers/wrists usually bothers me and I can't stop messing with it. I guess it's like a mild sensory thing. That said, I don't want to disappoint her by leaving my ring at home 5 days a week when she wears it every day.

Can anyone recommend me a comfortable chain or cord to put my engagement ring on?

What happens after a Death Guard invasion?

I'm doing some homebrew lore between my Militarum army and my friends Death Guard army and it got me thinking.

I mostly mean instances where they assault a planet/location and then are repelled. I have to assume that anywhere they go they're actively spreading sickness, especially battlefields where Nurgle worshippers are getting blown to bits and spreading their mess everywhere.

Does the rot and infection they leave behind die off if they leave? Do you have to burn/irradiate everywhere that they've been. Can the effects of Nurgle corruption be cleansed or is that land/planet effectively lost once they arrive?

Can't fit second fan on Thermalright Phantom Spirit. Will this affect my noise/temps?

It's set in between my ram and the hub for the ports on my motherboard, so I can't fit it on either side. I also don't have the mounts to rotate the whole cooler, so that's not an option. I could potentially mount it off center but I held off for now because it looks wonky and I thought it might be noisy.

Will this affect my temps or fan noise? Do I need more case fans to compensate? It's a Fractal North with mesh side panel for reference. Thanks?

Built a new PC, planned on reusing my current PC's storage. Not sure how to go about it.

Built a fancy new rig and given the price of memory right now, I was planning on reusing the 3TB of storage in my current PC. Specially I have a 250GB SSD with my OS installed on it, a 1TB SSD, and a 2TB M2 SSD.

The problem is I have is about 10 years of bloatware and random crap and I can't tell what's important anymore.

I'm also not entirely sure what will happen with my OS. I've read that switching to new hardware without a fresh install can cause driver errors but that's all I know. I was just trying to avoid paying $100 for Windows 11. I like Windows 10, I'm familiar with it, and from what I hear 11 is just kinda 10 but worse.

Any guidance here?

I'm tired of shooters with bullet sponge enemies, pea shooter pistols, and confetti cannon shotguns. I want the power fantasy guns.

I would prefer a singleplayer FPS, but I'm open to suggestions. I honestly don't really care if it's balanced or challenging, I'm just trying to chill and shoot some dudes after work.

Any recommendations for that kind of vibe?
