All of my main characters have alternate forms, in some capacity... The innocent little cat is certainly not an exception to that rule~.

Much of Takashi's character arc involves two things: coming to terms with no longer being human, and control. When he was a human, he always had a plan for everything so that nothing could ever hurt him. He used his intelligence to protect both himself and his daughter from harm. He was never strong... But his intelligence and capability could give the illusion of strength.

So, when he was turned into a cat... All semblance of control over his own life felt as if it was thrown out the window. He can't protect his daughter because he's a housecat. He is forced to tag along with two people he feels are more capable than he ever could be as a stupid cat. They influence his daughter in ways that she seems to enjoy, but he doesn't entirely approve of. What if she hurts someone? What if she's seen by people that would want to turn her in? What if... She likes her new friends more than she EVER liked him as a father? What if, what if, what if...

... Eventually, his frustrations will come to a head. His commands will be denied.

There is only one way to take back the control he's lost, in his mind.

Last year I depicted Brian as happy for pride month. Alas, his lore has changed too much for him to feel 100% comfortable there. Maybe he just needs a little time to get adjusted. Be patient.

her name is taurus-13775, but the gang calls her variations of 'invader'. vade is the most common. she seeks a certain resource from earth, the silly gang needs to stop her... maybe by this time, they'll have unlocked some fun new powers to try out on her.
unlike halley who's a child of her species, vade is an adult. novae are unable to reproduce; as their true forms are the rocks that sit in their chests, they are not 'born'. instead, they are chunked off from an enormous dead sun known as the Mother Star, the rock chiseled into a unique shape by a certain sect of novae society. once there is nothing left of the Mother Star, the novae as a race will cease to exist.
so they will do anything to prolong their survival.
don't expect to meet her anytime soon! yes, i'm already planning things for a part 2 of my game. they kind of go hand-in-hand! i hope i get the chance to make both.

Yesterday I locked the fuck in and got Shelby done, at least! 7 more characters to go, but at least they won't be as... Intensive, as Da Goth. She has a lot going on.
The normal outfit is what she wears on the outside world. Her consciousness has been split from her body and trapped inside the cellphone she holds.
Within the cellphone is a dimension called the Red Room; her consciousness cannot _leave_ this place, as there's no exit. She wears a unique nightgown here, as the entity that caused her situation would love for her to take a permanent nap and give up control of her body completely.
That's not going to happen. It can't happen. She won't allow it.
